One invitation is enough
Repeated contact after silence, refusal or blocking is not permitted.

Users should be able to report harm and request review of significant moderation decisions.

These are launch-ready draft principles, not final legal advice. The operating entity, governing law, dispute terms and required regional disclosures must be completed before production launch.
1. Agreement and eligibility
By creating an account or using MissToSee, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. General accounts are intended for adults who can legally enter an agreement. Special access involving a minor must follow the platform’s additional safeguards.
2. Purpose of the service
MissToSee helps users organize memories, seek contextual leads, preserve stories and request consent-based reconnection. The service does not investigate active disappearances, verify identities, file official reports or act on behalf of public authorities, and it cannot guarantee a match.
3. Safe and respectful use
You must provide information honestly and respect another person’s decision not to engage. You may not use the service to:
- Harass, threaten, stalk, intimidate or repeatedly contact anyone.
- Publish private addresses, phone numbers, live locations, credentials or financial information.
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your relationship, authority or purpose.
- Search for someone for debt collection, coercion, legal service, surveillance or discriminatory screening.
- Exploit, sexualize or endanger a minor or vulnerable person.
- Scrape, automate, reverse engineer or bypass privacy and safety controls.
- Upload unlawful, deceptive, infringing or malicious content.
4. Your content and permissions
You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant the service a limited permission to host, process, translate, format and display it as needed to provide the features and according to your visibility settings. You confirm that you have the necessary rights and permissions, especially for photographs and information about other people.
5. Leads, identity and consent
Leads are suggestions, not confirmed facts. Do not publicly claim that a person has been identified without reliable support and appropriate consent. Protected messages do not create a right to direct contact. A decline, block or withdrawal of consent must be honored immediately.
6. Review, restriction and removal
MissToSee may review, limit, hide or remove content and may suspend accounts to protect users, enforce these Terms or meet legal obligations. Safety controls may make mistakes; users should be able to report concerns and request review where appropriate.
7. Third-party services
Links or optional integrations may be governed by separate terms. MissToSee is not responsible for third-party services, and users should review their privacy and security practices before proceeding.
8. Availability and limitations
The service may change, pause or be unavailable. To the extent permitted by law, it is provided without a promise that a person, place or story will be found or that every lead will be accurate. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded.
9. Ending use
You may stop using the service and request account deletion. MissToSee may suspend or end access for serious or repeated violations. Provisions concerning safety, ownership, disputes and legal responsibility may survive account closure where appropriate.
10. Changes and governing terms
Material changes should be communicated before taking effect. The production Terms will identify the operating company, governing law, dispute process and official contact details.
